SCHOOLS DESIGNED
FOR THE FUTURE
In California, only 44% of high school students are prepared for success after graduation. This translates into tens of thousands California students leaving the K-12 public school system unprepared for their future.
EdVoice advocates for more flexibility to allow for innovation in school design and content delivery, modernization of pedagogy, and aligning course offerings and curriculum to align with today’s entrance standards for postsecondary education, technical training and good paying 21st Century jobs.
Students who participate in high-quality career and technical education are more likely to graduate from high school, earn industry credentials, enroll in college, and have higher rates of employment and higher earnings.
Ensuring our schools are designed for the future will allow for every student in California to reach their full potential.
